AVG receives PC Answers Recommended Award
2 May 2008 - AVG Internet Security 8.0 has received a Recommended award from UK magazine PC Answers. The review highlighted AVG's excellent threat detection, the high quality of the anti-spam module, lightning fast rootkit scanning, and the suite's robust firewall.
What particularly impressed PC Answers was the ease of use of the software, including AVG 8.0 Internet Security's new interface — giving it the full 5 marks out of 5.
Also very popular was the new and innovative Linkscanner technology, which PC Answers described as "perhaps the coolest addition" and "a step in the right direction" within online security.
