Avoiding Download Problems
Some people experience problems when trying to download large files such as the AVG installation files. We suggest you consider using a download manager application, especially if you're downloading via a dial-up or slow broadband connection.
An effective download manager program will let you pause and restart a download. It will also resume broken downloads so you needn't start downloading from the beginning if the download is interrupted. Examples include:
- Free Download Manager (www.freedownloadmanager.org)
- GetRight (www.getright.com)
- Internet Download Manager (www.internetdownloadmanager.com)
You can of course use any appropriate download manager application available through popular download portals like:
Please Note: AVG (AU/NZ) takes no responsibility for the download manager you choose. We are unable to help you with problems you may have using such an application.
