Before installation, please consider the following:

Download AVG Admin if you want to take advantage of AVG Admin reporting facilities: AVG Admin 9.0 for Windows   Note: Unless you have a good reason to want to use AVG Admin reports (i.e. Server requires update, Server requires restart, Server is infected), we do not recommend downloading and installing AVG Admin. Step 3.	Download and Install the SharePoint Plugin on Server (if required): AVG 9.0 for Sharepoint   Note: Do not download and install unless the machine is operating as an MS Sharepoint Portal server.	FAQ's

Installation Notes:

• When you are prompted, please do not open this file directly from the Internet, but click the "Save" button and choose a location where the installation file should be stored. We recommend saving the file to the Desktop or your My Documents folder.
• Reboot your computer.
• Locate the downloaded AVG installation file where you saved it to (it has a four color square icon and its name starts with AVG...) and launch the installation by double-clicking on it.
• Follow the installation wizard.

Step 3

Installation of AVG 9.0 for SharePoint

AVG 9.0 for Windows must be successfully installed on your computer before you can install AVG SharePoint Server Edition!

The installation of AVG SharePoint Server Edition itself begins after executing the installation file AVG 9.0 for Sharepoint. Once installation of AVG SharePoint Server Edition has begun, follow the on-screen instructions.

As soon as installation is complete, you will be asked if you wish to restart the World Wide Web Publishing Service. The restart can be completed later, however the AVG SharePoint Server Edition is only fully functional after the restart has occurred. After the installation is successfully finished, the closing dialog window will be displayed with a Log button, which will display the installation log file with a record of the initialization and of the status latest virus database.

Updates

Latest AVG updates files.
It is strongly recommended that you perform all updates from the AVG interface. The AVG program can distinguish between full and differential updates.
